Introducing our sewerage adoption team

In response to customer feedback and to enable us to provide the best possible customer service, we’re changing the way we process sewerage adoption agreements. For the first time, we have a dedicated legal team within Developer Services who will deal with adoption agreements. Hugh James Solicitors will continue to provide support. 

You will also now be able to manage your application via our new online portal, where our team will liaise with you on any legal agreements.

We have simplified the process to make it easier for customers, by:

• Introducing a single fee payment which consolidates the technical and legal fee
• Making template legal agreements available on our website to reduce the time in issuing and completing agreements
• Having a dedicated team within Developer Services to reduce the time taken to assess your design and complete the legal agreement
